John,
Hope you are all doing well and enjoying this first month of 2026. I am working with the planning team for Leadership Northern Colorado and would like to invite you to participate in our regional Elected Officials round tables with the new leaders in the 2026 class. Thank you to those who have been a part of this session in the past.
Details:
Tuesday, February 24th from 1:30pm – 3:15pm
Downtown Fort Collins – Agave Room in the Rio Grande (149 W. Mountain Ave – 2nd floor event space)
We will use the Rotating Round Table format for this experience. There will be 6 small groups at round tables, you’ll have about 12 minutes with each group – rotating between groups and sharing your same message a total of 6 times.
We encourage you to think about regionalism in your comments… consider addressing these topics:
Regionalism & Collaboration
– Opportunities to work across municipal or county lines
– Shared priorities for Northern Colorado
Community Strengths & Momentum
– What excites you about the community you represent
– Share promising projects, trends, or partnerships
Challenges & Needs
– Key issues requiring regional solutions (e.g., housing, workforce, transportation, water, affordability, infrastructure)
– Do you see any barriers to collaboration
Leadership & Engagement
– How do you encourage rising leaders and community members to get involved and engaged in government
– Why did you get involved in government? And what do you need from the business and nonprofit sectors
Future Vision
– What do you hope Northern Colorado will be known for
– Do you have any long-term priorities or aspirations

We announced the new class in December. The process have become competitive and review and selection challenging but we have an incredible group of participants for this new class. (press release with roster attached for your reference)
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your consideration – this session has truly been a highlight of the LNC experience. We greatly value your time and commitment to this important regional program.
Thank you!
