2024 Off-System Bridge Grant Solicitation - Grant Funds Available!

Good afternoon! The Special Highway Committee is now accepting grant applications from counties with off-system bridges that are eligible for rehabilitation or replacement. Approximately $22 million will be available for allocation to counties and municipalities between 2023 and 2025. The deadline for applications is Friday, October 28, 2023.
Attached to this e-mail please find 1) Special Highway Committee Memo – Call for Applications 2024 (which includes an overview of the program guidelines and eligibility requirements); 2) SHC Application Data Worksheet; 3) 2023 Off-System Bridge Select List; 4) CDOT Structure Management Manual - Bridge Program 2020; and 5) 2023 CDOT Local Agency Coordinators.

Lastly, a flyer is attached for the Bridge Communications Day on October 26. This event will be sponsored by CDOT and will bring together numerous project partners to discuss best practices, new design methodologies and encourage dialogue.
