View this email in your browser NOVEMBER 2022 Rooted in Community, The Ranch is Growing The implementation of The Ranch Master Plan is in full swing! Since its opening in 2003, The Ranch Events Complex has been a monumental landmark for Larimer County, hosting everything from hockey games to horse shows, 4-H practices and the beloved Larimer County Fair. The Ranch serves as a community gathering place, a major economic driver and one of the premier event facilities in the region. To continue to serve Larimer County and meet the evolving needs of event organizers and attendees, exciting changes are underway at The Ranch! Meet the Contractors  The Ranch team is thrilled to be working with a talented team of contractors to bring the Master Plan to life. The following teams were selected through a competitive bidding process and bring years of industry experience and expertise to The Ranch Master Plan. OLC Architects designed and gave shape to the vision of the 4-H, Youth and Community Livestock Arena. FCI Constructors is executing that design as the prime contractor for this exciting new community amenity that will include an indoor dirt arena, classrooms and educational facilities, and adjacent RV hookups for event use. In addition, FCI is also leading work to expand the warm-up space inside the MAC Equipment, Inc. Arena and reconstruct the West Pavillion wash racks, restrooms and storefront on the west side of the building.  Connell Resources is improving The Ranch's roads and access points by relocating Arena Circle and adding additional ingress and egress points.  Construction Updates Due to ongoing work on Arena Circle, the MAC Equipment, Inc. Arena, and the 4-H, Youth and Community Livestock Arena, access to The Ranch Events Complex will shift on Nov. 28. Visitors may use the south entrance and the newly opened Andalusian Drive to access events at the Complex. The North Entrance will be temporarily closed beginning Nov. 28. Current Construction Zones Aerial footage of The Ranch taken in November shows the future location of the 4-H, Youth and Community Livestock Arena. Just east of the arena site and north of the maintenance building, construction is also underway on the new RV hookups and additional trailer parking. Construction continues on the 4-H, Youth and Community Livestock Arena located northwest of the MAC Equipment, Inc. Indoor Arena. Horizontal work is underway to level the area and begin the installation of utilities for the new building. Work is also ongoing to expand the nearby maintenance building on the north end of the complex. Visitors may see and hear increased construction activity and are encouraged to follow all site signage to access their events. Arena Circle has been under construction since the spring of 2022 and is expected to be completed in Summer 2023. The roadway improvements will relocate Arena Circle to the outer edge of the property to help ease traffic and add new entrance and exit points. Visitors will be able to use a portion of the relocated Arena Circle and the newly opened Andalusian Drive starting Nov. 28.  Construction began on the expansion of the MAC Equipment, Inc.
