On behalf of Fort Collins Rescue Mission Campaign Steering Committee, please accept my invitation to attend a breakfast reception specifically designed to host our friends and partners in the sphere of government.

This small group reception provides opportunity for you to learn firsthand the status of our new building project, what will be accomplished in the intentionally designed building for those experiencing trauma, and the positive impact on real people who live in our community.

With the changing landscape of homelessness, near homelessness, and the exorbitant cost of rehab facilities, the number of homeless individuals has taken on a new look at the national level.  This reception is intended to engage you in a dialogue on the issues at-hand in our community, share efforts that are underway to address the problem (specifically, but not limited to, the new FCRM building) and to offer information as you engage with citizens and respond to questions and concerns.

Please Join Us

  • Wednesday, May 8th
  • 7:30a – 9a
  • Ginger Baker Restaurant (hold in the lower-level board room)
  • RSVP Requested

We are appreciative of your partnership and commitment in addressing the fundamental needs and access points that lead to rehousing and stability.

Thanks,

-seth

Dear Seth,

Thank you for reaching out and for this opportunity. May 8 is the last day of the legislative session, so I cannot attend. I would be happy to find another time to connect and learn more about this project. Thank you in advance. My aide, Jenna, is copied on this email in case there is an opportunity to find another time to chat further.

Best regards,

Hello Seth,

Thank you for this invitation, and my participation in this breakfast meeting is contingent upon our (BoCC) completion of the proposed Thornton Pipeline Project 1041 land use hearings. We are scheduled for 4/22, 5/6; and 5/8, 5/20 (if needed). If I am unable to attend then I would like an update on the capital campaign and a deeper discussion of the issues at hand. I will be gone for most of the month of June so we are looking at July. Thoughts?
