Good morning,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing on behalf of the NECO Rodeo Team, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to explain our role in organizing youth rodeos for the National Junior Rodeo Association (NJRA) and to request your support in helping us continue this important event for our community’s young athletes.

Each year, we organize two rodeos, one in April and one in May, which attract over 300 contestants from various regions. These events are essential in fostering youth development, teaching responsibility, sportsmanship, and the values of hard work. However, putting together such large-scale events comes with significant costs. The total expenses for each rodeo range between $25,000 and $27,000. One of the largest components of our budget is the rental of the rodeo arena, which is quite substantial.

As a nonprofit organization, we rely heavily on sponsorships to cover these expenses. However, with the high cost of the arena, it is becoming increasingly difficult to ensure the sustainability of these events. This is why we are reaching out to you and the commissioners to kindly request your consideration in providing either financial assistance or a discount on the arena rental fees.

Your support would not only help us continue these rodeos but also create opportunities for young competitors to showcase their talents in a safe and organized environment. The positive impact these events have on our local youth is immeasurable, and with your help, we can ensure that this tradition continues for many years to come.

We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further and explore how the commissioners might be able to assist us in supporting our youth rodeo events. Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you.
