Colorado’s Only Spanish-Language Behavioral Health Conference for Providers
Dear Colleagues, As the year comes to a close, all of us at Julissa Soto Latino Health Equity Consulting, Casa Inmigrante, and The Catholic Medical Association extend our sincere wishes for a peaceful, healthy, and restorative holiday season.
Your leadership, clinical expertise, and commitment continue to strengthen Colorado’s public, behavioral, and mental health systems—from prevention and early intervention to crisis response and long-term care. Because of your work, individuals and families experience greater access, dignity, and continuity of services every day. We are deeply grateful for the impact you make.
As we look ahead to the new year, we invite you—enthusiastically and wholeheartedly—to be part of a first-of-its-kind, statewide training initiative and to register as a provider for Colorado’s largest and only Spanish-language Behavioral and Mental Health Conference.
Before sharing the details, we invite you to watch a special video message from Captain Beau Brant of United Airlines, a proud supporter of Grita Tu Identidad. Captain Brant shares his passion for service, community, and leadership—both as a United Airlines pilot flying out of Denver International Airport and as a musician who plays piano with heart and purpose. His message reflects the spirit of this conference and personally invites you to join us on this powerful journey.

GRITA TU IDENTIDAD: UN CAMINO HACIA LA LIBERTAD EMOCIONAL Y LA SALUD MENTAL
This Spanish-language behavioral health conference and training series is led by Julissa Soto Latino Health Equity Consulting and Casa Inmigrante, in collaboration with Jefferson Center and the Colorado Community Health Alliance (CCHA).
Designed exclusively for professionals and providers, this conference strengthens culturally responsive, language-accessible, and trauma-informed care.
It is organized and led by immigrant women, who bring forward professional insights grounded in lived experience—sharing both successes and systemic challenges encountered while navigating behavioral and mental health systems.
This is not just a conversation. Actionable solutions and practice-ready strategies will be shared—tools you can take back to your organization, clinic, or agency and apply immediately.
A core focus of this initiative is addressing persistent barriers to care, including why telehealth remains ineffective or inaccessible for many Spanish-speaking and immigrant populations due to language barriers, limited technology access, digital literacy gaps, privacy concerns, and cultural mismatch.
