The Colorado Fire Commission (CFC) has been studying Forest Improvement Districts (FID) – you can learn more about FID’s here.
A CFC sub-committee has presented a series of legislative recommendations on changes to the current law on FID’s – review here.
The CFC would like CCI’s feedback on these proposed changes, please review the recommendations and provide feedback to your county CFC representatives Lesley Dahlkemper of Jefferson County (ldah...@co.jefferson.co.us) and/or Jim Candelaria (jcand...@co.montezuma.co.us) of Montezuma County, by end of day on Tuesday, July 14.
