2023 Eagle Award Winners:

|
Colorado Poverty Law Project's Mobile Home Initiative
CPLP's Mobile Home Initiative has been in operation since April 1st, 2020 and serves communities across the State of Colorado.
|
|
|
|
CPLP’s Mobile Home Initiative program works to protect mobile home park residents through free legal advice and representation, know-your-rights trainings, referrals to community partners, and housing justice advocacy at the state and local level.
|
|
|
Renaissance Legacy Lofts
Located in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver, Renaissance Legacy Lofts opened in January of 2023 and was developed and is operated by the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. Carvell Architects was the designer and Milender White was the contractor.

|
|
Viña Apartments
Viña Apartments in Denver’s Elyria-Swansea Neighborhood was completed in March 2022 by developers Columbia Ventures and landowners Urban Land Conservancy.
|
|
|
|
The designer was Shopworks Architecture, the contractor was I-Kota.
|
|
|
Westside and Triangle's Mobile Home Parks Acquisition
The Westside and Triangle Mobile Home Parks were acquired in early 2022. This project was led by Elevation Community Land Trust
|
|
|
|
with the support of resident organizers and a diverse group of organizations and funders. The effort preserved the affordability of 62 low and very low income households.

|
Beth Truby
Beth currently works with the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, but that doesn’t begin to describe her 40 years of contributions to the affordable housing community in Colorado. Beth is a true treasure and a valuable asset to our community.

|
AVi at Olde Town/Integrated Services at AVi at Olde Town
Located in Arvada, AVi at Olde Town opened in December of 2022 by Foothills Regional Housing and was able to integrate service programs already operated by CASA of
|
|
|
|
Jefferson and Gilpin Counties, Jefferson County’s Chafee Program, and the VA Medical Center. AVi at Olde Town was designed by Van Meter Williams Pollack and the contractor was Milender White.
|
|
Maxfield Heights
(People's Choice Award Winner)
TWG Development, with TWG Construction and the Rifle Housing Authority, partnered to create Maxfield Heights in Rifle. Maxfield Heights provides 50 one-bedroom apartments.
|
|
|
Pat Coyle
(Herlinger Award Recipient)
Pat has worked throughout his career to bring housing to those who need it the most. He has served in government and non-profit roles over the years at places like Denver’s Road Home and at the state’s Division of Housing.
