[CW] Increase in Mileage Reimbursement

From Finance January 12, 2024 INCREASE IN MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT Effective January 1, 2024, GSA (Government Services Administration) announced an increase in the mileage rate for the use of privately owned vehicles (POV) for County business from $.655 to $.67 per mile. According to the County Travel and Employee Reimbursement policy 320.2, "The County’s mileage rate is calculated at 100% of the Federal GSA Rate. When the GSA Mileage Rate changes, the County’s rate will be adjusted accordingly within thirty (30) days."   The 'Miscellaneous Expense Report' and the 'Travel/Advance Report' with the increased mileage rates have been updated. The current forms will also remain on the Bulletin Board with the mileage rate of $.655 for reporting mileage prior to January 1 2024. Please remember we are using the FRAN Employee Reimbursement Form to report all your travel for the year 2023 and 2024.     If you have any questions, please reach out to Cindy Malcom.
