Hi John,

My name is Kim Coronado, and I’m reaching out from Soofa, a female-founded smart cities start-up out of MIT's Media Lab.

Since 2018, Atlanta has used Soofa Signs - 100% solar-powered, wireless "neighborhood news feeds" - to push out real-time messaging to its citizens. I'm currently looking for city partners nationally to enhance the pedestrian experience with Soofa technology, and think Larimer would be a great fit.

Some more background: Soofa Signs can provide city residents, visitors, and tourists alike with city communications, real-time transit arrival information, public health PSAs, city-sponsored events, and other neighborhood news. The Sign's pedestrian sensor provides cities with pedestrian data insights via an interactive dashboard, which can support city planning and economic development decisions.

Do you have time this week or next for an introductory call to brainstorm a partnership in Larimer?

Thanks,
Kim

Hi John,

I'm following up on my previous email and want to make sure Larimer has the chance to take part in this smart-city partnership opportunity.

Soofa Signs can transform Larimer's outdoor parks, squares, and gathering points into places people turn to for reliable, up-to-the-minute information. In addition, Soofa city partners gain access to the Pedestrian Trend Tracker, a data visualization platform allowing instant insight into pedestrian footfall trends in Larimer.

I'd love to hear more from you about your strategy for optimizing citizen engagement in Larimer and whether there are any projects underway to streamline this process which Soofa could help with.

Do you have time to connect this week for an introductory call?

Thanks,
Kim

Hi John,

Does Larimer want to be part of Soofa's expansion? We feel confident about Soofa Signs' use as a community resource in Larimer and would love to speak to you more about a partnership.

Our Sign's new layout can communicate city PSAs, local business information, transit updates, virtual events, and community opinion (read more here).

Is this something you typically deal with or is there someone else I should reach out to?

Thanks,
Kim
