County Sign Code

Hello John,    I am questioning the large sign, "Resist The Fascist" painted on the side of a large truck trailer, off north Hwy 1 and this side of the Waverly turn off.   This trailer/sign has been there for the past year or so.

I read part of the County sign code and see that a permit is needed for just a sign.   My first question is,  did the party who placed that sign apply for a permit and was it approved?

My second question is, does this sign meet the size requirement per the Count code?   Is that sign "political" in nature thus falling under more restrict code adherence. 

So some of us who drive that road and past that sign often, find it troubling to say the least.

I would appreciate you to look into this issue or give me a County contact that can answer my questions.
