Downtown Business Owners: Share Your Input on Parking!

The City of Fort Collins is exploring updates to downtown parking, and your input is vital. Pop-up open houses are happening at the South end of Old Town Square on October 16, 24, and 25, 2025.

What’s already been heard:

At a September business engagement event, downtown stakeholders shared ideas including:
  • Options for downtown employee permits
  • Short grace periods for quick pick-ups and deliveries
  • Preference for phased implementation rather than abrupt changes
  • Support for 4-hour limits in paid parking areas to encourage turnover
  • Preserving the unique character and charm of Old Town
Why attend:
  • See how initial feedback is shaping proposed updates
  • Provide your perspective to help refine plans and ensure they work for your business
  • Connect with City staff and project leaders, review visual displays, and leave feedback
How to participate:
  • Drop by any open house during event hours
  • Encourage employees or customers to share input
  • Stay informed on proposals via the City’s project page

Your feedback helps ensure parking updates support a thriving, accessible, and vibrant downtown.
