Good evening all,

You're receiving this email from me to let you know that parts of your community is in the area of concern for tomorrow's PSPS event. The final decision to proactively turn power off to our customers ahead of tomorrow's wind event, will be made in the AM (likely between 6-8am). We expect to execute the PSPS beginning around 10am.

Please see the attached press release. This PSPS event is estimated to impact roughly 50,000 customers across the Front Range. We expect the weather to improve/winds to lessen toward 6pm, however, this does not mean power will automatically be restored at 6pm. We must manually have crews patrol each section of line before we re-energize to ensure no fire is started. Given the forecasted weather, it is likely other outages not tied to the PSPS will occur throughout the area, requiring our crews to address those as well.

Please see the public facing outage map: Xcel - Outage Map As of now, the areas that will have power turned off tomorrow are INSIDE THE BLACK DOTTED LINE.

The communities impacted at this time are: Fort Collins, Timnath, Windsor, and Berthoud, spanning Larimer & Weld Counties.

Because I am on paternity leave, I am including my colleagues Grace Ramirez and Blair McGary. They will be helping me respond to things tomorrow. Grace's cell is: 303-877-8173, and Blair's cell is: 970-485-0943

Please ensure your constituents stay up to date by following the outage map page, our event website, and social media channels. Please consider sharing our messaging via your social media platforms.

We expect to have more updates in the AM.

Thank you all.

Good morning all,

As of last night, we have narrowed the area of concern for the possible PSPS tomorrow, Friday 12.19.25.

The following communities/areas have been removed from the impacted public safety power shut off: Fort Collins, Timnath, and Windsor.

Berthoud is still within the area of concern for tomorrow's event. @Chris Kirk @Brian Dubois @William Karspeck

See the attached screenshot showing the area of impact for the 12.19.25 PSPS.

There are operational/leadership meetings happening this morning, and we expect to have a more formal update on tomorrow's event to share this afternoon.

Thank you all.

Good evening all,

I am updating you about tomorrow's Public Safety Power Shutoff event.

Tomorrow, at approximately 5am we will be executing a Public Safety Power Shutoff impacting the following communities: Berthoud & Loveland. See the attached map showing the PSPS map for tomorrow. Loveland was included in the scope as of 4pm. @Jim Thompson and team, I apologize for the late notice, but weather patterns shifted and called for us to include this the western edge of Loveland where Xcel is the power provider.

The weather event tomorrow is expected to be WORSE than Wednesday, with winds being stronger, temps warmer, and conditions even drier. This is an extreme trifecta for wildfire.

This PSPS will begin at 5am, and we expect the weather conditions to improve by 6pm, 12/19/25. This will be a long outage, lasting 12+ hours. Once conditions improve around 6pm, we will send crews out (so long as it is safe) to patrol the lines impacted by the PSPS. It is likely other weather-related outages will take place in surrounding areas - those will be addressed throughout the day as crews are able. Once the PSPS conditions lift, crews will then focus on restoring those customer first over others who have non-PSPS outages (this is because those under the PSPS will be out longest).

I'll share a press release later tonight, but wanted to get this message out to you asap.

Reach out if you have any questions.

Good afternoon everyone,

Attached is the latest press release and update for the ongoing PSPS event today.

We are now forecasting for the weather event to cease closer to 8-10pm this evening, which is a shift from 6pm like we thought last night. We expect further clarity on this later in the afternoon. If crews can begin restoration work tonight they will.

We have Xcel staff at the Berthoud Fire Station, providing charging resources, supplies, and the ability to answer resident questions. Residents from Berthoud and Loveland can be served here. Staff will be there until 7pm. We are evaluating our ability to be at the Fire Station again tomorrow.

Crews will prioritize customers impacted back the PSPS outage first once the weather calms down. We have over 90+ contract crews and 50+ Xcel crews (crews of 3-4 linemen) responding to this event.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Thank you all.

Good evening all,

Last update for tonight. See the latest press release attached. Though the winds seem to have settled down a bit, our meteorology teams are forecasting another burst around 1-2am. Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot clear lines from PSPS criteria.

This means the customers in Berthoud and Loveland will remain without power overnight. Crews will begin restoration efforts first thing tomorrow morning at 7am, with the focus on areas like Berthoud and Loveland who have been impacted by the PSPS. Customers will be receiving calls, texts, and emails this evening for updates, and in the morning estimated restoration times will be posted to the Xcel outage map.

Xcel greatly appreciated the partnership and support from the Berthoud Fire team - thank you for hosting us!! Grace spoke incredibly highly of Chief Charles. We have will have 2 team members back at the Fire Station tomorrow from 9-4pm.

As always, please reach out if you need anthing.

Good morning all,

Crews stared patrolling and restoration activities at 7 AM this morning. As of 10 AM the impacted areas in Loveland and Berthoud have been cleared of PSPS and power has been restored to those customers!

Any customers experiencing outages this morning are a result from the weather or other non-PSPS related outages.

We will have an official press release to share soon, but in all practical purposes northern Colorado has been restored.

If you're experiencing any issues in your communities still, please let me know.

Thank you all for your patience and grace.
