Wildfire Mitigation Drop-Off Day
and Development Code Open House

  • The Estes Park Wildfire Mitigation Drop-Off Day is happening today from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (until containers are full) at the Estes Entrance of the Estes Fairgrounds on Community Drive. Drop off bagged pine cones and needles at this location to reduce wildfire risk. A separate drop-off for noxious weeds is located across the road at the skate park area. Each vehicle is limited to 10 paper bags per site.
  • The Town is holding a Development Code open house today at the Estes Park Middle School cafeteria from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. This is an opportunity for the community to provide feedback on the proposed updates to the Development Code, which is being updated to align with the vision set in the Estes Forward Comprehensive Plan which was adopted in 2022. Click here to take the Town's Development Code survey to provide feedback.
