2021 NACo Annual Conference
JULY 21-24 | TRAVIS COUNTY, TEXAS
Covering five key themes – county economies, health and wellbeing, resiliency, governance and operations, and leadership – the workshops, general sessions, committee meetings and mobile tours will provide practical tools to achieve results for our residents. Explore each theme using the links below.
NACo’s Annual Conference & Exposition is the largest meeting of county elected and appointed officials from across the country. Participants from counties of all sizes come together to shape NACo's federal policy agenda, share proven practices and strengthen knowledge networks to help improve residents’ lives and the efficiency of county government.

Explore county innovations in housing affordability, economic mobility and creating opportunities for people and places to rise to new heights.
RESILIENCY & SAFETY
Dive into topics related to strengthening our resiliency for the future, including disaster preparedness, state and federal regulations, and new federal resources for infrastructure, energy, and public lands management.
HEALTH & WELLBEING
Examine practices and policies that support county responses to the nation’s mental and behavioral health crisis and help to achieve better outcomes for all.
GOVERNANCE & OPERATIONS
Learn the latest trends in essential county functions and administration, including elections, financial stewardship and attracting and retaining quality employees.

VENUE & HOUSING
All conference activities (except for off-site evening receptions and mobile tours) will take place at?the Austin Convention Center. Discounted housing rates have been established at the 11 hotels closest to the convention center and rooms will fill up quickly.
Conference registration is required prior to booking your hotel room. Instructions and access to reserve your hotel room will be included in your registration confirmation email.
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is located just 15 minutes from downtown and the convention center.
