Western Daughters Kitchen to open at CSU Spur

Western Daughters Butcher Shoppe, which has been operating for a decade in Denver’s LoHi neighborhood, will launch a second location called “Western Daughters Kitchen” on Jan. 6 within the new Hydro building in the CSU Spur campus, adjacent to the National Western Stock Show complex.

Larimer County commissioners declined a request Wednesday from the state of Colorado to shelter additional migrants that have overwhelmed services in the Denver metro area, citing logistical and legal concerns, as well as worries that migrants might end up stranded without transportation in Larimer County, or enter the homeless population.

Local drone racing club competes in high-speed races at Grimm Brothers

The event was put on by FoCo FPV, a drone racing club in the area that regularly hosts both indoor and outdoor drone races. It also served as the first race in their Street League-style racing series, a newer racing league they will be working with into spring of 2023.
