Dear John & Jody,
My name is Faye Martin, Developer and CEO of Rural Mountain Media. I am writing to introduce you to our flagship digital infrastructure project, RedFeatherLakes.us, and to explore how we can align our platform with your regional economic and destination marketing goals.
Since 2021 when I moved to this area, I have heavily invested in building a comprehensive digital operating system for the Red Feather Lakes community. Our platform goes far beyond a standard visitor's guide. It is a robust socioeconomic engine featuring integrated community job boards, local business advertising, centralized event information, and—most importantly—we are preparing to launch a proprietary, direct-booking engine for local short-term rentals, tours & experiences and a vendor marketplace for local crafters and artisans to advertise and sell local goods.
By completely bypassing third-party platforms like Airbnb, our booking engine actively "plugs economic leakage," ensuring that the transaction fees and tourism dollars that are typically exported out of state in fees remain entirely within the local economy.
Because of my comprehensive, data-driven approach to destination stewardship, our platform has secured the #1 ranking on Colorado.com for the Red Feather Lakes region. Furthermore, in just the last 30 days since actively launching our localized SEO strategy, our organic search impressions have grown by 270%, demonstrating immense, unmet digital demand for this corridor.
We recognize that managing the digital presence and economic retention for rural municipalities often strains county resources. Our goal is to serve as a turnkey, highly professional "Public-Private Partnership" asset for the Highway 14 corridor. By officially endorsing and supporting our platform, Larimer County can ensure that visitors are directed to a state-recognized resource that actively supports the socioeconomic health of the local community. Additionally, we provide a low cost advertising venue for local businesses that is open to all and that helps local artisans market their wares via an “online farmer’s market” to support economic growth for everyone.
I am reaching out to request a brief, 15-minute introductory call to demonstrate the platform's capabilities and discuss how we might formalize this alignment—whether through official directory linking, regional marketing sponsorships, or destination development grants.
We are ready to scale our support for Larimer County, and I would love to explore how we can move forward together.
Sincerely,
Faye Martin
