Water Leaders 201 - Practical Strategies for Building Stronger, Healthier Workplace Cultures

You’re invited to our upcoming Water Leaders 201 Training!

The training is this Friday, 2/27, from 9:00 - 3:00.

Join us for an interactive, hands-on session exploring how creating healthy and connected workplace culture can be built through everyday choices. Explore the role of empathy in the workplace, and how to implement empathy through concrete and actionable skills that strengthen trust, improve communication, and foster an environment where people feel respected and valued.

In this workshop you will:

  • Build core empathy skills through active listening, reflection, and validation of others lived experiences

  • Explore individual and group cultural biases while deepening understanding of intersectionality and positionality within the space
  • Practice identifying personal implicit bias, emotional fragility, and defensiveness using strategies rooted in emotional regulation and self-awareness
  • Co-create a shared list of personal and professional accountability commitments for participants to uphold individually and within their teams

This year’s Water Leaders 201 will help you connect these insights to your role in Colorado’s water sector, leaving you with practical strategies, a fresh perspective, and renewed clarity for how we lead and listen in a complex, fast-changing world.

We hope you’ll join us for this powerful and engaging session!
