The Swing Station in Laporte is in your area. They allow smoking, they even promote it on their web site, see: https://www.swingstationlaporte.com/

I find it horrible that you allow this clear breach of the Colorado clearly air act and clear risk to the health of the staff, the public and others.

I have discussed this with the staff there and they tell me that since they are outside city limits that smoking is legal.

Worse, when I contacted the owners I received the most amazing interaction, as shown below:

I came to listen to music on Sunday - the music was great but I had to leave because of the smoking. I asked the bar-keep and he said that since you are outside city limits smoking is legal. I see that your website mentions a smoking area too.

Please explain how you get around the CCIAA. Thanks in advance.

I wonder if you are confused and operating on the basis of the old Fort Collins ban.

To me, the smoke ruined a great experience.

Please feel free to report it to whom you deem necessary. It seems as if our little Honky Tonk doesn’t meet your standard so feel free to see live music elsewhere. We will not, however, listen to threats that you make via email. Perhaps you can find another small business to pick on and write bad reviews about.
