I am writing you in support of this great locally owned small, agricultural business with outrageous restrictions in place for doing business.
Did you know that they donate their space to local non-profit organizations to host their fund-raising events at NO CHARGE? This is a large amount of revenue that they donate to help our community prosper. These donations then also affect the traffic in and out of their business and they live in fear that they will be shut down for simply "giving back".
They should not have their business limited to a measly 11 cars per day limit. For example, we drove there today to buy some wine to give to friends. We were there approximately 10 minutes, but now our trip in and out of the Hillside Vineyard and Blendings Winery counts for 2 cars.
I know that Tiffany and Michael are working hard to be a respectable business and they have respect for the City and County government, however, this 11 car limit is unreasonable and limits them from running a truly successful business.
I ask that you kindly consider reinstating the Special Permit details of the County Commissioner vote from 10/19/2015.
