Good morning Water Literate Leaders!
I’m excited to invite you to the first ever Colorado Water Workforce Summit April 2-3 in Denver hosted by the Colorado Water Center!
Day 1 is a conference-style gathering at the Tivoli Turnhalle, Auraria Campus to identify Colorado’s most urgent water workforce needs and education/training gaps, build synergies between sectors and organizations, and develop next steps for water workforce development.
Day 2 at CSU Spur Hydro features a Water Career and Education Fair designed to connect students with water-related employment and training opportunities. If you have positions to fill and/or want to promote your organization, sign up to be a Water Fair Exhibitor. There is also a targeted networking session with professionals and students from 10-11am for more in-depth conversation & match-ups based on similar interests.
This program is ideal for water industry & employers, water-related educators & trainers, workforce development specialists, and students across Colorado. I hope you are able to join us – and please help us spread the word to your networks!

We are only a few weeks away from the registration deadline for the Colorado Water Workforce Summit, hosted by the Colorado Water Center!
Ways you can participate & spread the word:
- Attend the Day 1 Summit (April 2nd, Auraria Campus, Denver) to contribute to discussions on how education and training programs in CO can better meet the needs of employers, plus enjoy networking opportunities to build synergies & contacts. Check out the agenda.
- Sign up as an exhibitor for the Day 2 Water Career & Education Fair (April 3rd, CSU Spur Hydro, Denver) to showcase your organization and/or recruit potential applicants to open positions.
- Share the event internally with your organization as well as externally to your professional networks!
