Hi Annie,
I think it would be a good idea for us to talk briefly about the meeting the other day so I can make sure that I am working with you all in the manner that you would like. I can catch you up a bit on the general idea that came out of the meeting. I suggested the next step is to create a core group of 4-5 or so members of the community that can drive the direction of the work with a focus on the core goals identified by the group. I am unfortunately very busy today but can call tomorrow or Friday afternoon if either of those days will work for you.

Thank Annie, John, Kerrie and Paul. It is imperative that we loop in Stuart Halsall, and I'm that he and Dr. Mayer (Paul) will connect this week to ensure that everyone is updated and we are all working from the same page. I've exchanged various voicemails with Stu this past week, and he is expecting to have Paul reach out to him for a conversation and update. The big takeaway from Thursday's RFL CC is that a committee of community members needs to convene and identify the key issues and barriers regarding health care access and a range of options to best address these issues and barriers. It looks like this committee is already hard at work. I also want to make sure that we do not get too far ahead of ourselves regarding the potential partnership with the DU Mountain Campus, and that we are adequately exploring other ideas that were discussed - a school-based health care primary care clinic that could serve as a location for telehealth with proper staffing. From my understanding of our deliberations, we are looking at what could be done this year with an eye towards adding specific questions pertaining to RFL and surrounding communities health care needs to be included in the 2025 community health assessment survey. Be well.

Good day, everyone,
I'm sending out a quick update to let you all know that the ball is rolling. Annie Scott, Corrie Goodier and I met this afternoon to discuss answering some basic questions of "who, what, when and how" in regards to establishing a healthcare clinic so that we may write up a proposal and submit to Stu at the DU Mountain Campus as a possible "where". We plan to have a proposal in place and ready to send by next Wednesday. We will continue to make sure you all are included in the process and discussions.
Warm regards,
Kerrie Marr

That is great news! At this point I am not sure you all need my involvement anymore. I have a meeting with Stu this Thursday which I will keep to make sure I am up to speed on the progress. You all seem to have things well in hand.
