The time has come to fire Tom Gonzales.  He has crossed the line and abused his position in this community.  Please do not let him continue to lead our community with a personal agenda in mind. This is a conflict of interest. Please do the right thing.

Dear Larimer County Commissioners and Larimer County Board of Health Members,

 

I am disgusted by the email exchange that we’ve seen between the County Commissioners and Tom Gonzales trying to stifle the free speech of a Larimer County citizen. Tom does not seem to understand where his jurisdiction ends on the public health front or the First Amendment front. This is embarrassing as a county and he should be let go immediately.

 

Enough is enough.

Dear Elected County Commissioner,

I am writing to call for the immediate termination of Tom Gonzalez as Larimer County Public Health Director. It is not right for an elected official to use his “power” to squash the free speech of the citizens of Larimer County. Just because he doesn’t agree with that speech or finds it threatening, his position should not be used to intimidate others to push forward his own agenda. We need a public health director that will stand up for the rights of all people not just the people Mr. Gonzalez deems worthy.

I am appalled at the recent events uncovered regarding Tom Gonzales’s attempt to quash freedom of speech. 

As a 30 year resident of Larimer County and a fourth generation Coloradan I’ve seen liberalism slowly taking over our communities and state. 

I urge you to fire Tom Gonzales taking a step closer to returning our country and state back to a place where reasonable people work together regardless of Party affiliation for the good of our communities.

Stop the intimidation of Larimer County Citizens! Tom Gonzales has abused his position of power and does not have any knowledge of the US Constitution of the United States, namely, the First Amendment! This is tyranny!

The Larimer County Director of Public Health has the responsibility to represent all the people of Larimer County, know the Constitutional rights of our citizens, be aware of not crossing the line of emotions, feelings, and respect the rights of the people.

Please replace Tom Gonzales with someone who will be respectful, thoughtful and knowledgeable of our rights.
