temporary license plate problem

Hi,

  I contacted someone named Stephen McFall at the state Dept of Revenue (stephen...@state.co.us) regarding getting an emissions test due to concerns about being high risk for covid. He was in contact with Meredith Jordan at Larimer County who provided me with a temporary plate so we could wait till Spring for my emissions test due to medical reasons. There was more delay due to I had car problems and Meredith expressed concern that even though they had contacted AirCare in Longmont they would not remember the exception they were going to make for me due to concerns about covid due to the amount of time that had expired. After the car was fixed I contacted Meredith and asked her to contact the AirCare people in Longmont again to make sure they knew the plan so I did not have problems with them when I got there. Meredith told me she had been told Mr. McFall was no longer there and she had been told he was replaced by Renee Allen, but she has been trying for over a week to contact Renee Allen and ask her to communicate with AirCare in Longmont about the plan. She says she has never heard back from Renee Allen. My temporary tags expire today and I tried to find Renee Allen but found out she is not a DMV official, she is their public information officer, so she does not have the authority Mr. McFall had. Meredith had told me she could issue another temporary permit until she could get Renee Allen to contact Air Care in Longmont because AirCare in Longmont does not have a direct line. So I have not heard from Meredith and tried to contact her by phone and by email today a few times and gotten no response. I do not want to get in trouble and my temporary plate is expiring today. Can you please do something to get this mess straightened out so I can get my emissions test safely? I do not mind having to pay for another temporary plate in the meantime while Meredith does whatever she is doing with Renee Allen or whoever but I need Meredith to do that.
