Hi all
I am writing an application for the Bohemian fund under their Economic Stability and Mobility grant. I applied last year and my request was declined. I didn't realize that they do not fund any projects related to health care. My last application was trying to get relief for caregivers. This year I will steer clear from anything to do with health care and I will focus on food.

You both did a letter of support. Would you be willing to do another letter?of support?
In case you need it here is the Bohemian address
Bohemian Fund
215 N. Mason St., 2nd Floor
Fort Collins, CO 80524

Again this year I will be focusing on providing food to keep our people economically stable and able to afford basic necessities like food, shelter , and utilities. We can get past the transportation and economic barriers with our location and by delivering food boxes.

A couple of questions- they really liked in the last application that we would meet with you - the county commissioner, 2 or 3 times a year to go over issues and possible solutions. I am not sure how to include that when we are unsure who the commissioner will be. Do I ask one of the other commissioners? Any suggestions on that?

Annie-even though we already do this - can we include how we will collaborate to offer wrap-around services and we can say how this will help their economic stability?

I will attach last year's letter of support to help. The letter looks great- any mention of the copilot program for caregivers would need to be taken out .

The grant is due Tuesday night. It may be too short notice for  you but I figured I would give it a try.

I am meeting with Natalie soon to go over our meeting notes. I have been tryign to get to everything we talked about. The holiday events took up a lot of time. But I am back at it...

I soo appreciate all the support!
Cheers
Darlene

Darlene,

I am working on the letter that I will share with Lorenda before we put this on letterhead and send it to you to include in your application. Please confirm that this economic and mobility grant is to the Bohemian Fund of the Bohemian Foundation located at 262 E. Mountain Avenue, FC 80524. This address is different from the one in your email and on the country letter of support from last year. Thank you.

Good morning, Darlene,

I will work with Lorenda on the county letter of support, and I would include in your application that there will be meetings/regular updates with the BoCC and the Commissioner most directly responsible for District 1 and the RFL area. Remember, I will continue in this position until 1/12/27, and we can include a reference to this communication/coordination between the County and the RFL Food Pantry in our letter of support. Thank you.

yep and I just submitted the edited letter to Lorenda and Melissa for their review and to place on the county letterhead with my signature. Melissa will send this to you, hopefully before the end of today or tomorrow morning. Thanks for the opportunity to be of service, and good luck.
