Workforce development support

Hello,

My name is Megan and I am the Director of the non-profit BUILT NoCO. I'm reaching out to Commissioner Kefalas to see if he would show support to our mission to strengthen construction and trades workforce development in Northern Colorado high schools by attending our annual field trip to the Hartford Homes jobsite on March 17th.

Each year this event brings dozens of students in the process of being certified through our program to a highly productive job site to not only see how this work looks in real life, but to bring awareness to the public through media coverage. The VP of Operations of Hartford Homes, Jon Tschetter, is on our board of directors and will be in attendance, as well as other leaders in the construction industry of Northern Colorado.

I know this work aligns with the Commissioner's values, not to mention his constituency's. I sincerely hope we can host you on the day, and please let me know if you have any questions at all!
