Every June, Human Resources works with the Commissioners to request budget direction for employee pay adjustments for the following year. The Commissioners provided budget direction for a 2% market increase effective the first day of the first pay period in January 2027.
The Commissioners have also approved a 2% merit increase for 2027. Merit increases are considered for employees who are not at the top of their established pay range and receive “meets or exceeds expectations” ratings on their evaluation date.
