Dear Neighbor: As we kicked-off the annual August district work period, I was grateful to spend the past week meeting with constituents, listening to their concerns, and working together to find community-driven solutions to the challenges facing our state, from lowering costs and expanding access to affordable health care to tackling the wildfire crisis and protecting our public lands!
We started the week on Monday in Estes Park at our “Congress on YOUR Corner” event, where I had the opportunity to meet folks on the street corner and answer their questions (made all the more exciting by the fact that we were joined by a herd of elk — literally!) We then spent the afternoon with the Mayor of Estes Park and community leaders, discussing the challenges facing the town and valley. And we closed the day at the Dannels Fire Station, celebrating the swearing-in ceremony of the new Estes Valley Fire Chief. |

In between these events, we toured the site of the Town of Estes Park’s new public safety campus for the local police department—a project for which I secured $1 million in federal Community Project Funding to help complete. This campus will strengthen public safety, improve infrastructure, and increase the efficiency of communications and emergency response.

Looking to later in the week, we ended the month of July with our 27th town-hall in Boulder! I’m deeply grateful to all who joined us at the CU Boulder campus (Sko Buffs 🦬) for their questions and insights. Our office has hosted more town halls than nearly all members of Congress—and we’ll keep showing up from Walden to Boulder and everywhere in between! |

- We helped celebrate 70 years of TLC Learning Center in Longmont! Founded on the mission of expanding access to education for children of all abilities and backgrounds, this organization has made a profound difference in the lives of countless Colorado families.
📍 We also introduced the 988 Lifeline Location Improvement Act, a bill focused on improving the dispatch of geolocation data for those calling or texting emergency services, ensuring that no one falls through the cracks during their most vulnerable moments.
