Dear John,

This week Fresh Water News reports on nearly $4 million in federal funding that was frozen and then released, a move that will allow critical work restoring fire-scarred watersheds in Grand County and Rocky Mountain National Park to continue.

In other news, we are tracking an Arizona man's battle with his HOA over free water handouts; flash flooding in New Mexico; and rejection of a legal challenge to the Thornton Pipeline in Larimer County.
