2025 Impact Report, Great Futures Gala, Annual Art Show & More!

CEO Letter

This week, Boys and Girls Clubs of America is hosting its 120th National Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina to celebrate our shared mission and the incredible work that we do to support and empower young people across the country. I am fortunate enough to be attending the conference with our Fort Collins Club Director, Holden Reecer, and HR Manager, Kiara Redmond. The amount of learning that staff receive through these opportunities is immense and the theme of the conference is Accelerating Impact. Now that might be a clever play on the fact that Charlotte also houses the NASCAR Hall of Fame, but the conversations and keynote speakers are all focused on how we continue to grow and be better for our kids everyday. Whether it was Roger Goodell and Larry Fitzgerald talking about making the NFL the best version of itself or Angela Duckworth sharing how passion and grit are the magic that turns talent into success, as leaders in youth development we know that our work must continually evolve to ensure that we are preparing our members for future success.

Our out of school time programming is not only the most affordable in Larimer County, it is also the highest quality program that you will find locally. We also know that we can continue to do it better. Through corporate partnerships and individual donor investments, Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County is growing our programs to better meet the 21st century needs of our youth. We've started construction on our new Panda Cares Center of Hope at our Loveland Pulliam Club designed for amplifying access to technology and academic achievement. We're also bringing a new weight and fitness room to our Fort Collins Club through a partnership with our local Planet Fitness and piloting a boxing program for teens in Estes Park to support healthy habits and inspire confidence. We're offering new career tracks for youth to explore during Summer of Discovery and growing our peer leaders program.

As we prepare to celebrate our 40th Anniversary Great Futures Gala on May 30th, we'll continue to look ahead at how best to continue growing our future leaders for the next forty years and beyond. I hope you can join us to see what truly sets us apart (hint - it's our staff) and share in the magic that happens inside a Boys & Girls Club.

With Gratitude,

Chief Executive Officer

Celebrating Creativity at our Annual Art Show

Our Annual Art Show was a wonderful celebration of creativity, community, and the incredible talent of our youth. The evening was made even more memorable by a surprise visit from Governor Jared Polis!

Held at the Lincoln Gallery, the event transformed the space into a vibrant showcase of artistic expression. Members proudly displayed their work in a formal gallery setting, giving attendees a chance to experience the depth of creativity fostered within our Clubs. The evening also featured artwork from our dedicated staff, highlighting the many talents that make up our diverse community.

Guests enjoyed live music from the Fort Collins Symphony, hors d’oeuvres, and the opportunity to connect while uplifting our young artists. The unexpected appearance of Governor Polis added an extra layer of excitement and recognition for our members! Guests also wrote words of affirmation for youth artists to read later. The energy in the room was inspiring and filled with encouragement, pride, and admiration for the work on display.

A special thank you to Pinot's Palette for donating gifts for our youth winners and gift cards for our staff winner!

Estes Park High School Give Next Group

Invests in Youth Well Being

Recently, the Estes Park High School Give Next Group awarded $1,500 to support the Estes Park Elementary Club, recognizing the important role Club plays in supporting the well-being of local youth.

This generous contribution was made under Give Next’s mission to support organizations that promote both the mental and physical health of the Estes Valley community. Their investment will help strengthen programs that provide a safe, supportive environment where young people can build confidence, stay active, and develop lifelong skills.

We are incredibly grateful to the Give Next students for their thoughtful commitment to uplifting their peers and supporting the next generation!
