Mr. Lafferty:

Thank you for submitting the letter/request from Larimer County regarding Prospect Energy's Krause and Fort Collins Meyer facilities.  The Division appreciates and shares the concerns the Commissioners addressed in the letter.  We are aware of the fire at the Ft. Collins Battery on May 9, 2022, and have been in contact with the company and COGCC field staff regarding the incident.  Sydney Mcleod, the Larimer County inspector, has also been involved in our investigation into the fire incident, and has been extremely helpful and responsive in collaborating with the Division on this investigation.  The Division is actively evaluating the information provided, and we will update you, as appropriate, on any further developments and progress on our pending investigation and the enforcement actions noted in the letter.

The Division appreciates Larimer County Commission's communication of its concerns for these facilities.
