Good morning all,
You should have received an email over the weekend inviting you to an exciting event with Governor Polis, the Front Range Passenger Rail District, and Amtrak. In the Governor's 2024 State of the State, Governor Polis highlighted the unique opportunity Colorado has to build a world-class passenger rail system due to federal investments from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Thanks to the partnership between the Governor's office, Front Range Passenger Rail District, and Amtrak we are proud to extend an invitation to join us for a showcase train from Denver's Union Station to Longmont and back to Denver.
Please RSVP ASAP. Even if you are unable to attend, please RSVP letting us know ahead of time.
We will depart from Union Station on Thursday, March 7th at 1pm and return to Denver by 5pm. We will stop in Longmont where we will disembark for a snack before getting back on the train to Denver. If you need to return to Denver ahead of 5pm, there will be a dedicated Bustang to drive you back to Denver's Union Station.
Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday at Denver's Union Station!
