Hi Board,
Before the weekend, wanted to connect on a few things:
Board Training Reminder: A couple of months back we discussed scheduling board training, and August 18 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. was the date that worked for most people and it was added to the calendar a month or so back. Just wanted to remind everybody of that. It'll be online to allow maximum flexibility for people, and I'll plan to record it for people who cannot attend.
2025 Board Travel: I'm happy to say that Weld County has confirmed that they will be able to host us for the September rulemaking meeting and for a county visit the day before on September 4 -5! I'll meet with them in the coming weeks to flesh out a program and share more info as I get it and will update the calendar invite now.
Diaper Drive: Lastly, some of you have been kind enough to donate diapers that we will pass along to departed board member Desta Taye-Channell, who is the director of the
Florence Crittenton. If you are interested in donating more diapers, please bring them to the
July 11 meeting. I will also see about setting up a visit to Florence Crittendon in July or August, if you are interested in attending, please let me know!.
Thanks, and have a great weekend, all!
-Kyle
