DISABILITY ACCEPTANCE TRAINING

The Advisory Council invites you to an interactive in-person training with The Arc of Larimer County, where lunch will be provided! Learn about both visible and invisible disabilities, challenge common biases and myths, and discover practical strategies to foster a workplace culture of dignity, respect, and curiosity. Enjoy a free lunch and prize drawings.

GETTING THINGS DONE
Thursday, 10/16 from 8:30am - 4:30pm

The Getting Things Done® methodology, developed by productivity expert David Allen, helps you manage the constant flow of requests, tasks, and interruptions. This in-person, one-day course teaches proven techniques to capture, clarify, and organize incoming work, allowing you to focus on priorities, prevent critical projects from slipping, and make more strategic decisions.

2026 LEADERSHIP PROGRAM - BRONZE LEVEL
Applications are now open for the 2026 Bronze Level Leadership Development Program, available countywide for interested employees.
The Bronze Level includes three required in-person classes (Crucial Conversations, Lead by Design Basics 1, and Recognizing and Addressing Bias in the Workplace), plus two self-paced activities. Completion in 2026 qualifies participants to apply for the Silver Level in 2027.
There is no cost to staff or departments to participate. We currently have space for 100 participants, with about 50 spots remaining.
If you’re interested or have an employee you’d like to recommend, please email Nicole Berg or Christine Kuehnast as soon as possible. Be sure to get your supervisor’s support before reaching out.
