In reviewing the bylaws, and then based on our conversation yesterday, I think that the next appropriate step to deal with the thirty days limitation on the appeals would be for you to decide if you want to submit a request that the appeal period be extended, and if so why you think that is appropriate, that way I can provide that to the BoH.  It would not need to be anything too fancy or formal, if you want to ask for the BoH to consider extending that 30 day appeal timeline, you could just send a letter addressed to the BoH.  That way it is all documented.  That is certainly something you could do next week, and we can discuss it more next week also if you'd like.

Thanks, this is probably the first of several meetings or conversations we will have over the course of the appeal, so for tomorrow lets plan on a phone call as I am going to be in between different meetings, then we can discuss meeting in person down the road.  For tomorrow, mostly what I want to discuss is to talk about the schedule, the process, how you are thinking the hearing before the BoH will go and what evidence or information in addition to what you have already presented you will want to provide.

Ms. Ramler, I was sent a copy of your appeal and wanted to discuss with you the next steps to process this.  I am not sure whether you are working with an attorney or planning on moving forward without one, either is fine, but to the extent you are working with an attorney, I need to know that up front as my professional obligations require me to communicate with the attorney directly.  Once we get that part sorted out, we can discuss scheduling and the process for the appeal.  I will be available this week through Thursday afternoon and then off for the holiday.  Thanks.
