This year’s Beyond the Banks conference theme emphasizes the need to expand our thinking, incorporate new perspectives, explore paradigm shifts, and collaborate across disciplines and sectors to continue solving complex problems.  Through presentations, workshops and networking opportunities, the conference will provide a platform for participants to learn about and share their experiences and ideas on how to sustain Colorado's watersheds for future generations. The conference will also provide opportunities to engage with experts in the field, collaborate on new initiatives, and explore innovative approaches to watershed management that move us confidently into the future.

Pre-Conference Workshops

During registration, you will be asked if you would like to attend a pre-conference workshop the morning of Oct. 3. We have a variety of topics covered from each conference partner:  Community Wildfire Mitigation Best Practices Training hosted by Colorado Watershed Assembly Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Workshop for Improved Community Outreach and Stakeholder Engagement hosted by Water Education Colorado Low-Tech Process-Based Restoration (LTPBR) Workshop with Case Studies from Cameron Peak Fire Recovery hosted by Colorado Riparian Association  You can find full descriptions of each workshop here.
