When I look around at our Rocky Mountain Village campers, I couldn’t tell you much about their disabilities or how their disabilities came about. That’s because I don’t see their disabilities, I see who they are. Their heart, their actions, their inner voice, their struggles, and triumphs.
Our campers have been dealt a hand they never asked for, but they play with the hand they’re dealt and sometimes, this involves a little bit of help.

Why is camp so important? It is one of the only fully accessible camps that provides week-long camping experiences for children and adults living with disabilities. A camp experience increases their self-confidence, independence, and critical thinking skills. Camp provides the opportunity to build lifelong friendships, and it gives caregivers time for respite—sometimes the only break they get in a year.
Your modest donation helps people with disabilities be the strongest that they can be. It gives them confidence, it gives them hope, and it makes them feel like they belong. It gives them a feeling that others might understand what they’re going through.
