Hello Nicole,Thank you for sharing this information about the remaining openings for the Bronze Level leadership training program, and I reviewed the website for more details. Are you suggesting that I should apply for this leadership training? When are the in-person training sessions?

Hi Nicole,Time is always an issue with the commissioners. Nevertheless, I would be interested in attending some of the sessions if my schedule permits, and I am particularly intrigued by the 3 topics listed below, although I went to the Learning Center but could not see the listing of the sessions. Thanks for helping me navigate this, and I am still not sure I can commit; also do not want to disrupt the sessions with my presence - being an elected official and all that. The Bronze level focuses on the leader learning and understanding their individual tendencies, strengths, and opportunities for development. Topics cover how to get results from conversations and communication, how to recognize and understand bias in the workplace, a leadership style assessment, and you'll begin your conscious leadership journey by learning about leading above the line, the drama triangle and a collaborative approach to conflict. The program begins every January and ends in December.
- Attend Lead by Design Basic Course 1 which is ½ a day or 4 hours (Choose from 5 sessions with up to 25 people per session in the Learning Center)
- Attend a 2-day Crucial Conversations course (5 sessions to choose from in the Learning Center)
- Attend Recognizing and Addressing Bias in the Workplace course (5 sessions to choose from in the Learning Center)
