January | 2025
Dear HWP Friends and Supporters,
Happy New Year! As we step into 2025, the Healing Warriors Program is filled with gratitude, and hope. A new year brings fresh opportunities to extend our impact and serve more Veterans and their families with the care they so deeply deserve.
This year, we are taking bold steps to expand our reach and deepen our commitment to the community. One of the most exciting developments is our partnership with the Arapahoe County Veterans Service Office (VSO) office in Aurora. Together, we’ve launched a new weekly Wednesday clinic, allowing us to bring critical services into densely populated areas of our veteran community. This clinic marks the beginning of what we envision as expanding our program on a larger scale.
At this satellite clinic, we will deliver our full suite of programs, ensuring accessibility for Veterans and their families. Our weekly sessions at this clinic will provide our healing therapies and feature our dedicated Client Care Specialist services. This dual approach is pivotal in connecting clients to community resources that address their broader needs, whether it’s housing, employment, or mental health support. When we holistically tackle the challenges Veterans face, the ripple effect is profound, families are strengthened, and communities grow more resilient.
Another highlight of this new chapter is the addition of our new Development Director, Light Stone. Light joins us with a passion for community engagement and will be instrumental in amplifying our program’s presence and reach. We are thrilled to have him as part of our team and look forward to the impact he will make as we continue to grow. Thank you for your unwavering support and belief in the Healing Warriors Program. Let’s make 2025 a year of growth, healing, and impact.
