Thank you again for your input on Rep. Evans' bill supporting a land exchange between the City of Greeley and the USFS. To follow up, the bill has been edited to incorporate your feedback: public access will continue, and each entity will manage the subject parcels to support responsible natural resource stewardship. An updated draft is attached for your reference; the sections related to your feedback are highlighted in yellow. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Respectfully
Daylan

In response to your question, Greeley is anticipating the bill to be introduced in the House by the end of May, with Committee testimony to follow.  They expect the introduction in the Senate will be by the end of summer. If I hear any additional detail, I will be certain to pass along the information

Thank you for this positive update regarding the land exchange and the amended federal bill that incorporates our input. The only questions I have are when the bill will be introduced and what the anticipated timeline for the legislative process is. Be well sir, and have a nice weekend. Hope you get tyo be outside as much as possible.
