August Is Here! Come Enjoy the Harvest With Us!
Dear Friends,
August is here! The days are hot, the gardens are thriving, and there's no better time to enjoy fresh, locally grown produce while supporting the incredible women of the Hispanic Women's Farming Proyecto. We hope you'll stay cool this month by visiting us at the farmers' market and spending an evening with us on the farm!
Visit Us at the Larimer County Farmers' Market
The women will be at the Larimer County Farmers' Market every Saturday throughout August, offering a variety of fresh, locally grown vegetables harvested from Flores del Sol Farm.
Shopping with our farmers is one of the best ways to support their growing businesses and celebrate all of the hard work they've put into this season.
Larimer County Farmers' Market
📍 200 W. Oak Street, Fort Collins, CO
We hope you'll stop by, meet the farmers, and take home some fresh, local produce!
Volunteer With Us This Tuesday!
We're looking for volunteers to join us for our first volunteer evening of the season at Flores del Sol Farm.
📍8101 S. Timberline Road Fort Collins, CO 80525
Tuesday, August 4
6:00–8:30 PM
We'll be harvesting, weeding, and tackling other farm projects together. Whether you've volunteered before or this is your first time, we'd love to have you. Every helping hand makes a meaningful difference for these inspiring women farmers.
If you'd like to volunteer, please reply to this email or email me at daysi....@proyectofarming.org to let me know you're coming. This helps us plan for the evening and make sure we have enough tools and supplies for everyone.
Thank you for supporting local agriculture and helping these incredible women continue to grow their farms and businesses. We hope to see you at the market or on the farm this week!
With gratitude,
Daysi Sweaney
