Larimer County tax deadline approaching

Author
February 23, 2024 at 2:19 p.m.

Taxpayers who choose to pay property tax in two equal installments must pay the first half by Thursday and the second half by June 15.

The deadline for those who pay the full amount in one payment is April 30.

Larimer County released information on the deadlines on Friday, noting that tax notices and payment coupons were mailed in February. Those who did not receive their notice should contact the Larimer County Treasurer’s Office.

Taxes can be paid online by a credit or debit card or an electronic check; no fees will be assessed for electronic check payments.

Payments also may be made in person at the county offices during business hours, in a secure 24-hour drop box outside the offices at 200 W. Oak St. in Fort Collins or by mail to Larimer County Treasurer, P.O. Box 2336, Fort Collins, CO 80522. Officials remind taxpayers to include the reference number on checks and payment coupons.

Late payments can result in delinquent interest.

More information is available through the treasurer’s office at larimer.gov/treasurer or by contacting 970-498-7020 or lctre...@larimer.org.
