Hello Hello Purple Penguins!

Are you interested in STEM, helping out kids, or getting in your volunteer hours over the summer? If yes, I think you’d love this volunteer opportunity!

WHAT: Help the Kiwanis and Explorabox run 8 booths with 10 different hands-on activities for over 500 kids ages 4-12 at the Los Altos History Museum’s annual STEM Fair! All activities are designed around the theme of “Intelligence: Natural and Artificial.” You can also design your own activity to present at the fair!
Snacks and lunch will be provided, but bring a water bottle and a hat!

No prior knowledge of STEM is required, just a desire to explore and an interest in passing the joy of learning to others. After the RSVP deadline, we will send out a volunteer & assignment list which should be read ahead of time to help you be confident in explaining your booth!

WHEN: July 19th from 10am to 4:30pm with 4 hour shifts
WHERE: Los Altos History Museum (51 S San Antonio Rd, Los Altos, CA 94022)
