WHAT:
What is KCTC? Key Club Training Conference (KCTC) is an annual event hosted by Region 17 and is open to all members and officers of Divisions 12E, 12S, 12W, 34C, 34N, 34S, and 43! At KCTC, Key Clubbers have the opportunity to attend informational workshops, participate in fun activities, and meet new people from across the region! Members and officers will be trained on how they can better serve their homes, schools, and communities, as well as enhance their own Key Club experience.
What to expect: This year's theme is Pokemon! We will have workshops for specific officer positions and round robin presentations with topics for each officer position to things like Organization & Burnout to Awards & Recognition. To get a better idea of what KCTC is like, feel free to go to tinyurl.com/kctcvisuals23 or tinyurl.com/kctcvisuals24 to find pictures from last year’s event!
Attire: Wear your Key Club shirt or purple, our division color!
And what’s Region 17? You might know that Key Club is an international organization 🌎, but how does that break down? Well, beyond your school club is division level (we are the Division 34 South Purple Penguins 🐧💜 including 10 nearby schools). Beyond the division level is the regional level (in the Bay Area, we are Region 17 Royals 👑 along with 6 other divisions). And finally, beyond our region is district level, and we are the California-Nevada-Hawaii (CNH) Bees 🐝!
Please make sure to regularly check your email, the Division 34S Instagram, and the Region 17 Instagram (@region17royals) for the latest updates and reminders! More information will be sent out in the next few weeks for those who have registered.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to LTG Jemma Yang at d34s...@cnhkeyclub.org or (669) 649-0798! We cannot wait to see you there!
