What's the scoop, SUPERTROOPERS?
Sorry for the long email, but please bear with me....
Firstly, please prepare two delegates per club to attend our region-wide conclave (election for the next Lieutenant Governor) this year, which is most likely going to be 2/8. This is 100% MANDATORY, no exceptions. This should not be that hard, as any general member (who preferably isn't a senior) can serve as a delegate.
Secondly, if you are not a senior and you are interested in reaching higher office, please consider attending District Convention (DCON) in April. Maybe you can present a workshop there too!
Of course, seniors are 100% welcome, but this convention is very eye-opening especially for any member or officer who wants to learn more about the California-Nevada-Hawaii district. I recommend each club to bring at LEAST one prospective DLT/officer/LTG to DCON.
DCON is relatively expensive ($275 not including hotel), as it has many workshops, special events, and a huge venue, so I would highly HIGHLY recommend requesting your Kiwanis for money and fundraising for DCON starting NOW. Yes, I will be asking for updates.
