Keep working hard to earn those Trooper Tally points! For any questions on guidelines, contact MR Chair Maddie Cox at maddie...@gmail.com.
Updates from CNH:
ICON:
Key Club International Convention was recently held in Anaheim, California. Below are graphics from the CNH Instagram (@cnh_keyclub) detailing some important things that happened there, including the election of our new International President and bylaw amendments! For any questions, contact PIE Chair Sophia Nguyen at pie....@cnhkeyclub.org.
Miracle Treat Day:
Buy a Blizzard at your local participating Dairy Queen on July 27th! Proceeds will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network, one of Key Club’s partners. For any questions, contact KFF Chair Kenneth Nguyen at kff....@cnhkeyclub.org.
MRP Checklist:
CNH recently released the 2023-2024 guidelines for the Member Recognition Program, as well as a checklist for members to keep track of their qualifications at each level (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum). Anyone can qualify for the MRP, so please utilize this checklist well. More information on the MRP can be found in our division MR Chair Maddie’s presentation in later sections or on the Cyberkey! For any questions, contact Maddie at maddie...@gmail.com or CNH MR Chair Chloe Hartanto at mr.c...@cnhkeyclub.org.
CNH Member Reflector:
Just like how officers have their respective CNH Google groups, a new Google group has been released for general members! I highly encourage all members to join this group to keep up with the important news put out by the district. Once school starts and new members start to join, don’t forget to remind them to join our division and district groups! For any questions, contact me or MDE Chair Lina Tran at mde....@cnhkeyclub.org.
The Honey Scoop July Issue:
The July Issue of CNH’s Newsletter, The Honey Scoop, has been released! Feel free to go check it out at issuu.com/cnhkc. For any questions, contact District News Editor Willa Lim at d...@cnhkeyclub.org.
June DCM Recap:
Thank you to everyone who came to our D12 Splash into Service June DCM! Color wars and bracelet-making with D12S and D12E was a great way to kick off the summer with both fun and service. Our agenda from the meeting will be attached as a PDF to this email.
KCTC & July DCM Recap
I hope you all had a wonderful time at KCTC! I had so much fun talking to everyone that came, presenting about the Kiwanis Family, and enjoying the super lovely weather. Our agenda from the DCM portion will be attached as a PDF.
Officer Reflections:
Since KCTC was mandatory for officers and some couldn’t make it due to pre-existing conflicts, those that didn’t attend will be required to review the presentation slides on their own and write a short reflection on the content. Two presentations will need to be reviewed– one from Round 1 (officer positions) and one from Round 2 (general Key Club information), and the reflection will be due in early August. More information will be released to officers that didn’t attend soon once presenter slides are posted!
MRP Presentation
The Member Recognition Program is CNH’s way of rewarding as many members as possible for their hard work throughout the year. To give a general view of the program and its requirements, our MR Chair Maddie Cox has graciously created a presentation explaining the basics and how you can qualify, keep track of your achievements, and more! This presentation is incredibly important for secretaries, who are in charge of making sure their members are recognized properly for the work they do. Please make sure you’re well-acquainted with the contents of this presentation!

Club Board Visitations
Information has been released to officers regarding visitations! Visitations are crucial for clubs to set goals, receive general training, and review last year’s achievements. Please fill out the scheduling form ASAP! Let me know if you haven’t received the email that was sent to the D12W Officer Google group.
Check out the latest issue of The Trooper Times:
This issue marks DNE Taylor Hager’s first issue of the Trooper Times! Read articles, visuals, and updates at issuu.com/division12west. Thank you to all of the editors that contributed articles and visuals!
Additionally, due to Issuu’s new policies, an archive containing newsletter issues from 2013 until now has been created. If you’re interested in learning D12W’s ancient history, be sure to check it out at tinyurl.com/d12wnewsletters.
