What's soaring superheroes!

Welcome to the first monthly update of the 2025-2026 term! My name is Ashley Wang and I am proud to serve you all as your lieutenant governor for the 2025-2026 Key Club year. As school is wrapping up, I encourage you all to use your summer to rest and recharge. Take a trip to the beach, hang out with friends and family, and enjoy the summer weather!

UPCOMING EVENTS:


San Jose Half Marathon & 8K

Come help out at San Jose’s annual half marathon! Volunteers will all receive a free t-shirt, and it is located at Santana Row so be sure to come with friends and hangout afterwards!

WHAT: Help pass out runner packets at San Jose's annual half marathon!

WHERE: Santana Row (specific location will be emailed to all attendees)

WHEN: Saturday, May 31st from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm

LTG Banquet + DCM

The LTG Banquet is our annual end of the year celebration where we celebrate the end of the term with food, awards, speeches, and more! Come commemorate the end of the term with us and say goodbye to our IP LTG Jackie Wei.

Key Club Training Conference

Region 17’s annual KCTC will be taking place in the month of June! At this training conference, key clubbers will be able to learn from a plethora of experienced presenters about different positions and facets of Key Club, while also meeting and bonding with key clubbers across the SF Bay Area. All officers are required to attend unless they have a valid reason to not do so. (Previously planned family vacations, summer programs, etc. are all valid reasons.) Member attendance is highly encouraged

DISTRICT VISUAL MEDIA TEAM + TECHNOLOGY TEAM APPLICATIONS:


CNH (California-Nevada-Hawaii) District Visual Media Team Applications

Apply for DVMT and work with the District Visual Media Editor in making promotional graphics or editing videos for CNH’s social media accounts! You will gain experience working with the district and can meet like-minded individuals as you embrace your creativity and promote Key Club’s values. This is also a learning opportunity for many of the members to improve in video or graphics skills.

CNH (California-Nevada-Hawaii) District Technology Team Applications

Apply for the District Technology Team (DTT) and work alongside the District Technology Editor to update the Cyberkey, design digital resources, and help build the DCON 2026 website! You'll gain hands-on experience working at the district level, connect with other Key Clubbers, and help promote Key Club’s values through innovation and digital impact.

NOTE: The District Visual Media Team is separate from the Division Visual Media Team. The District Visual Media Team serves all of California, Nevada, and Hawaii Key Clubbers while the Division Visual Media team serves Division 12 East Key Clubbers. You are free to apply for as many teams as you wish. Be sure to be on the lookout for Division Visual Media Team applications coming out soon… ;)



NEW DIVISION AND DISTRICT GOALS:

Your new goals for the 2025-2026 term is as follows:


Division 12 East Goals

  • 6500 service hours

  • $2500 raised for PTP/YES! Initiative

  • 270 dues paid members

Cali-Nev-Ha Goals

  • 400,000 service hours

  • $130,000 raised for PTP/YES! Tentative

  • 28,000 dues paid members


BEE sure to help us reach our goals by staying an active member and officer! I am super excited to see what you all are able to accomplish this year.
