HEY SUPERHEROES!!

I HOPE YOU ARE ALL HAVING A LOVELY DECEMBER!!! I know these last two weeks before the break are painful, but don't worry, I believe in you all. I am so excited to bake warm cookies (and finish my remaining college applications). Congratulations to the Seniors who have submitted some of their first round of applications, to the Juniors who are taking their SAT and ACT these months, and to the Sophomores and Freshmen who don't know what suffering is yet.

December is a super fun month! So please join us in these next few events <3

December Ice-Skating DCM

Our BEST DCM of the year is just around the corner with D12S and D12W! Make sure to come to our December DCM on Saturday, December 16th from 7:30-9:30 pm at Solar4America Sharks in San Jose. This event is also a fundraiser for the Pediatric Trauma Program and a portion of your ticket fee will be donated!

D12 Movie Night

Just the day before the DCM, we are holding a Movie Night with D12S and D12W hosted by Bellermin Key Club. This event is a collaboration with Interact! We will be watching Weathering With You at Yerba Buena High School on Dec 15th, 6-9 pm. Be sure to bring your own blanket and come with your friends. Snacks will be sold as well. There will be a $5 entrance fee collected at the door.

Candidate Training Conference

Want to learn more about running for LTG? Candidate Training Conference is THIS Sunday. Please let me know by today if you still want to attend the event. 

  

WHO: Prospective Lieutenant Governor Candidates of Region 9 & 17 (9th - 11th graders as Seniors are not able to run for LTG)

WHAT:  Candidate Training Conference 2023

REGISTRATION: $5 (Bring Cash to the Event)

Division Visual Media Team

We have an exciting new Division Visual Media Team with members including Ahana Giri, Catherine Do, Cindy Yang, Jason Ngo, and Vicky Zheng led by Publicity Coordinators Ashley Wang and Quynh Dao! Congratulations to these members and thank you to all the applicants — we appreciate your efforts and we can't wait to see what else you for Key Club!

Division Technology Team

The D12E Technology Team is up and running! Once again, thank you to all who applied, and congratulations to all who were accepted. Please give your congratulations to Aarush Gupta, Ashley Wang, Ashritha Chand, Kyle Duong, Sarah Xu, and Shamak Gowda who will be led by Jackie Wei. The team is currently working on revamping the division website, creating cute Instagram filters, and developing an app to raise money for PTP.

Member Recognition Program and District Contest

A reminder to try to reach 50 hours before February to qualify for Member Recognition! Ask your secretary to see how far you are from reaching this level. District Contests and Division Contests have opened! Go to tinyurl.com/cnhcontests23 to learn more about each contest. Contests range from club, members, officers, and more! I recommend you all check out the information and see if you can apply for any! Please let me know if you have any questions!
