What's soaring superheroes!

Hopefully everyone has had a fantastic July! As we near the end of summer and are starting to begin the new school year, your home clubs will be amping up their activities so be sure to stay updated and active on the club level. But of course, don’t forget about the division and district! New resources, opportunities, and events will be rolling out so make sure to stay in the loop ;)

UPCOMING EVENTS:


[TENTATIVE] August DCM

Our August DCM is set to be on August 24th from 2-5PM! It is our FIRST DCM of the school year so make sure to bring your friends and make it our best DCM yet.


Fremont Festival of the Arts

Come volunteer with us at Fremont Festival of the Arts in two weeks! Help with ticket sales, set up, volunteer check in, and more. Join us for a fun weekend you don’t want to miss ;)

🗓️ WHEN: August 1st-3rd (various shifts available!)

Sean’s K-9 Luau Fundraiser

Before the summer ends, come out to volunteer at the Sean's K-9s 11th Annual Luau Fundraiser to volunteer alongside other heroes and get more service hours in! Multiple shifts for different tasks are available throughout the day. A training call will also be held prior to the event; try your best to attend if you're able to! All volunteers will also receive lunch and/or dinner! 

WHEN: Saturday, August 9th | 8:30 AM - 9:30 PM | Various shift times available!

DIVISION SPIRIT COMMITTEE APPLICATIONS:


Are YOU 🫵 a spirit individual who wants to gain more leadership experience on the division level? OR are you itching for an outlet to showcase your spirit 🎉 and passion 🔥🤔 Look no further and apply for D12E’s spirit committee 🗣️


The division spirit committee will assist our division spirit coordinators with everything Fall Rally North related! This includes leading our spirit prep sessions, helping with merch distribution, and most importantly, helping hype up the crowd during FRN itself.

DIVISION GOAL UPDATE:


Our division goal progress for month are as follows (last updated early July from secretary submissions):


  • 628.15 / 6,500 hours

  • $370.07 / $2,500 for PTP/Yes! Initiative 

  • 0 / 275 dues-paid members


BEE sure to help us reach our goals by staying an active member and officer! I am super excited to see what you all are able to accomplish this year.


DISTRICT UPDATES:


DCON Sergeant-at-Arms Captain Applications


Sergeant-at-Arms applications for DCON 2026 are OUT! SAA Captains will have the unique opportunity to gain experience on what it's like to serve on a district sub-committee through engagement in team teleconference calls, pre-convention prep, and Code of Conduct enforcement at District Convention 2026. 


This is an amazing opportunity to involve yourself in the CNH district and meet Key Clubbers from all around California, Nevada, and Hawaii! I highly recommend you apply if you are for sure going to be attending District Convention in Sacramento from April 10th-12th.
