Spirit Prep #3
Please join us for our THIRD spirit prep THIS Saturday, 9/28 at Independence High School from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. During spirit preps, members learn the cheers necessary for Fall Rally North, our BIGGEST and MOST SPIRITED event of the year (see below for more info) and get the opportunity to bond with members across the division. You are required to attend at least ONE spirit prep to attend FRN. The last spirit prep will be during the October DCM, explained in the next section. If you have any questions about this or have any issues with meeting the requirement, please contact me!
October DCM
Our October DCM is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, October 6th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Lake Elizabeth. Not only will you learn the spirit cheers, we will be having fun bonding activities and the DLT will be doing our DARES from the D22K x D12E PTP Stream Collab! Below are the list of dares we’ll be doing:
Eating a raw onion
Sing Baby by Justin Bieber
Eat a spoonful of soy/hot sauce
Eat a random weird food combination from the wheel
50 water balloons thrown
DLT does LTG’s makeup
Perform K-Pop Dance
In addition, the DLT will be creating a Safekey Africa greeting style inspired video based on a vote from the division.
Registrar of Voters
If you’re interested in earning service hours while helping run the election and earning money for PTP or your club, sign up to volunteer for the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters! The sign-ups are due TONIGHT so make sure to sign up ASAP. Information and registration is found at:
SVCCC’s Nav Diwali
The SVCCC’s Nav Diwali event is a celebration of Indian festivals! It will be held on Saturday, September 28th at Live Oak Park in Santa Clara with various shifts from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Be on the lookout on our Instagram for a post about the event!
Little Italy Street Festival
The Little Italy Street Festival is an annual Italian festival held at 323 West Saint John Street, San Jose on Sunday, October 6th with various shifts throughout the day. Be on the lookout on our Instagram for a post about the event!

Fall Rally North
Fall Rally North is our BIGGEST, most SPIRITED event of the year, where we gather at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom on October 19th and engage in spirit battles with divisions across Northern California to win the SPIRIT SHIELD! After the spirit session, you are free to go around the park on rides and bond with Key Clubbers across Northern California. There truly isn’t an event like it, and I highly encourage you to attend because it’s been so many Key Clubbers’ favorite Key Club moments.
Registration is now OPEN! If you’re interested in attending, please contact your club president. The entrance ticket is $32, but your club may decide to arrange transportation that may increase the cost. Our division will be having a bus leaving at 8:00am from Independence, and that will cost $52.

District Convention
District Convention is an annual event that commemorates the accomplishments of the previous term with special guests (last year we had Rocco!) and the Governor’s Ball (dance), elects the new District Executives, provides educational workshops to improve your leadership skills, and offers opportunities to bond with Key Clubbers across California, Nevada, and Hawaii! This year, it will be from April 25th to 27th at Ontario Convention Center, so be on the lookout for registration!
In addition, there will be many opportunities to get involved in running the event, such as signing up to be a Sergeant-at-Arms (help run the various parts of the event) and joining the Creative Media Team (taking photos and filming videos). Region Training Conference
If you haven’t heard, the Region 9 x 15 x 17 Training Conference themed THRILLER-TC will be happening from October 12-13 (yes, an overnight event!) at Camp Jones Gulch. There, you’ll be able to make long-lasting memories and friendships with Key Clubbers from all over the Bay Area and relive your science camp experience while developing as a leader! Registration is currently open for $130 and payment must be received by 9/30. Please check in with your club president if you’re interested in attending!
